    Dave Bromelkamp is the founding principal of Allodium Investment Consultants, where he serves as President and CEO. Dave is also the Chief Investment Officer for the firm and serves on Allodium's Investment Committee. He has more than 27 years of investment consulting experience with both institutional and individual investors.

    Dave was formerly a Senior Vice President with RBC Dain Rauscher, where he led a team of investment management consultants providing investment advisory services to fiduciary clients and accredited investors. He was a founding member of the Senior Consulting Group at RBC Dain Rauscher, which represented an elite group of the firm's leading investment management consultants.

    Dave has served as a director on the Boards of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and Catholic Charities of St. Paul & Minneapolis. He is currently a member of the Planned Giving Committee at St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota.

    He is a member of The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), an exclusive professional association of fee-only advisors with the highest standards of professional competency and client-centered financial planning.

    Dave holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary™ (AIF®) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies (www.fi360.com) and is one of the founding members of the Minnesota Fiduciary Roundtable, established by graduates of the Center for Fiduciary Studies as an open forum for sharing and promoting fiduciary standards and best practices.

    Dave speaks frequently to professional trade associations on the best practices of fiduciary investment management. He has taught Continuing Professional Education courses on fiduciary investment management for the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) and the Minnesota State Bar Association. He has also taught graduate courses as an Adjunct Instructor in Finance at the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas.

    Anne Ward is a Principal and Director of Financial Planning at Allodium Investment Consultants, specializing in investment strategies and comprehensive financial planning for affluent individuals and families. She focuses on designing and implementing goal-based, tax-efficient investment strategies to help clients achieve their unique personal financial goals. Anne chairs Allodium's Financial Planning Committee and serves on the Investment, Client Service and Compliance Committees.

    Anne graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and investments and minors in accounting and Spanish. She also earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®)and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designations. She is presently studying for a Master of Science in personal financial planning to expand her knowledge to better serve her clients. Anne is a NAPFA-registered financial advisor through The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), an exclusive professional association of fee-only advisors with the highest standards of professional competency and client-centered financial planning. She is also an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA®).

    Over the years, Anne has shared her expertise and insight for clients and peers through various speaking engagements as well as in print for numerous publications. For several years, Anne has been honored with the FIVE STAR Wealth Manager recognition as published in Mpls.St.Paul Magazine.

    Anne has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. In addition to her years as a financial advisor, Anne previously served as a consultant helping investment advisory firms establish and integrate financial planning strategies and software into their investment management services.

    Anne lives in the southern suburbs with her husband, two daughters and son. Like many working mothers, her hobbies include attending her children's activities such as lacrosse and basketball. She also enjoys volunteering for non-profits and is an active member of her church.

    Eric Hutchens is Director of Investment Research at Allodium Investment Consultants, specializing in investment strategies and comprehensive financial planning for affluent individuals and families. With 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, he focuses on designing and implementing goal-based, tax-efficient investment strategies to help clients achieve their unique goals. Eric serves on Allodium's Investment, Client Service and Financial Planning Committees.

    Eric earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Science in history from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. He has also earned a certificate in personal financial planning from the Metropolitan State College of Denver. In addition, he was also awarded the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designations to further his professional development and help him better serve clients.

    Eric is a member of The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), an exclusive professional association of fee-only advisors with the highest standards of professional competency and client-centered financial planning. Prior to joining Allodium, Eric spent 15 years with a top-ranked asset management firm in the Twin Cities, a decade of which he served as a financial planner.     Eric lives in the southern suburbs with his wife, two sons and two dogs. He enjoys spending his free time with family, attending concerts with his wife, and playing games of any kind. Eric is also an elder and treasurer of his church, where he likes volunteering his time and energy.

    Carrie Kaestner has over 17 years of experience in the investment profession. She joined Allodium in 2017 as a Financial Planning Associate, supporting Allodium’s investment consultants. She creates retirement plans, prepares performance reports and financial statements, and performs other financial planning and client service activities. Carrie is a member of Allodium’s Financial Planning, Investment and Client Service Committees.

    Her previous professional experience focused on providing customer support and documentation in the areas of retirement planning, estate distribution, tax planning, and income and cash flow management. Carrie takes pride in delivering personalized customer service and support to help clients achieve their financial goals.

    In her spare time, Carrie continues to engage in her lifelong passion of horseback riding and spends many weekends exploring trails across Minnesota and Wisconsin with her horse Shayla. She also enjoys daily walks and hikes with her two dogs JD and Kira.

    Renae Mottaz joined Allodium Investment Consultants as a Client Service Associate in 2016 after working four years as a Client Relationship Manager for another investment advisory firm. She currently serves on Allodium's Client Service Committee.

    She thrives on building relationships with clients and supporting them in all areas of their financial planning, investment and insurance needs. It brings Renae great satisfaction to help clients reach their goals and to see their dreams come true.

    Renae makes her home in Roseville with her husband, David. They have two children, Tony and Maddie. Renae enjoys spending time with her family whenever possible as they all share a love of music, baseball and camping. Renae enjoys quilting and hiking. She is active in her church and volunteers with her husband as a PREPARE mentor.

    Victoria Simpson joined Allodium in 2016. She is responsible for client service, business development and event planning. She assists the investment consultants with the preparation of documents for client meetings and helps apply and reconcile transactions to clients' accounts. She also currently serves on Allodium's Client Service, Marketing and Employee Committees.

    Victoria comes to Allodium with 18 years of experience in customer service, sales support and executive support, the last seven of which were in the mortgage banking industry. She enjoys listening to her customers’ needs and helping them achieve their goals.

    Victoria was born and raised in England where she earned a degree in hotel and hospitality management. She was a member of the British Freestyle Ski Team for ten years and represented Great Britain in the 1992 Winter Olympic Games in Albertville, France. After retiring from competitive skiing, she emigrated and settled in Minnesota.

    In her free time, Victoria enjoys leisurely walks and bicycle rides in the sunshine, spending time in her garden and with her friends. She still enjoys skiing recreationally on bright sunny days, and especially likes warmer vacations at the beach and pool!

    Tyler Chapman joined Allodium in 2013 and serves as Director of Business Operations. In this position, Tyler oversees and manages the ongoing operations of the firm.

    Tyler earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and music as a double major from Amherst College in Massachusetts. After graduating, he served as the Senior Admission Fellow in Amherst's admission office, where he guided high school students in their college search, hired and managed student workers, and reviewed applications to the college alongside other deans. He also worked with the Telementoring Program, a non-profit that assists first generation students in applying to colleges. He is currently pursuing an M.B.A. at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.

    Being a small town Minnesota native, Tyler enjoys being near his large family – parents, siblings and many nieces and nephews, who have been growing quickly in both age and number.

    In his spare time, Tyler enjoys all types of music, contributing to theater productions and exploring the great outdoors. He volunteers at the Guthrie Theater, and he also serves as a Financial Advocate and helps develop a financial coaching program for Prepare & Prosper, a non-profit that helps families move out of poverty.

    Kerry joined Allodium as Chief Operating Officer—first as a consultant in 2007 and then as an employee in 2008. After moving from the twin cities area in 2013, Kerry stepped down as Chief Operating Officer in late 2014. Kerry now serves as a part-time, remote Business Operations Consultant helping to plan, manage and monitor the firm's business operations. Kerry serves on Allodium's Executive and Compliance Committees.

    Kerry has over 32 years of experience in the financial services industry in a diverse range of roles, including executive leadership, client service management, project management, technology development, sales support, marketing and finance. He joined Allodium from Ameriprise Financial where he had spent most of his career earning various honors through the years for personal performance, innovation, quality and results. He has also worked for 3M and Target Corporations.

    Kerry earned a Bachelor of Science in finance with honors from St. Cloud State University and a Master of Business Administration in general management with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas.

    Kerry lives in Arizona with his high school sweetheart whom he had the good fortune to marry many years ago. In his free time, Kerry enjoys family, friends, learning, reading, traveling and outdoor activities like hiking, biking and kayaking, etc.

    Dawn Coughlin works part-time at Allodium, assisting with financial management, compliance, human resources, client service and office maintenance.

    Dawn holds a Bachelor of Arts in individualized studies from Metropolitan State University. Prior to joining Allodium, Dawn worked at Windsor Financial Group for 18 years, assisting with client service, performance reporting, trading and compliance. She has also worked at Marquette Capital Management Corporation and Marquette Bank in their Trust Services Department.

    Dawn and her husband, Brian, enjoy spending time with family and friends at their cabin in northern Minnesota. She enjoys traveling, reading mysteries and watching movies.

    Ilona Avraamides is a Marketing Associate at Allodium Investment Consultants. She first joined the firm in 2016.

    Ilona designs and produces many of the handouts and marketing materials at Allodium. She also collaboratively edits and writes copy, maintains the website, and edits the quarterly newsletter. Ilona chairs Allodium’s Marketing Committee and contributes to the creation and development of other marketing, communication and business development efforts.

    Ilona holds a Master of Business Administration, international business emphasis, from Bethel University and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Iowa State University. She has a wide range of experience in marketing, finance, accounting and operations in both profit and non-profit sectors.

    Spending time with family is important to Ilona. She lives in Fridley with her husband, two sons and a cat. She also enjoys studying theology, reading mysteries, cooking and gardening.
